Tech New Years Resolution

Hello Readers,

I apologize for having written fewer articles despite having available time to write during the holidays; I have been trying to spend more time away from technology and spend more time with family and friends. But be sure to catch my plans for 2013 after the break and enjoy.

In the past, I have spent quite a bit of money buying technology but now I will spend less time and money buying technology and spend more time using it.

I have three main resolutions when it comes to tech this year:
1. Buy less tech
2. Use my camera everyday
3. Spend more time producing content and less time consuming media.

I have recently just purchased the Sony DSC RX100 compact digital camera and the Nexus 7 tablet. With the Nexus 7, iPhone 4S and HTC One X, I will not have a camera to film my experiences with them. I am quite grateful that I already have these three devices and therefore I will try to purchase less tech.

With the RX100, I will start 3 projects:
1. Project 365

2. Forbidden Album

3. Video content

Project 365 is a simple photograph challenge for me to take at least a photo a day and have it uploaded. Here’s the first three photos in my collection and you can follow my experience via my DigitalRev photo-based social media page found here.

The Forbidden Album is simply a food album but there is a catch. I will only upload photos of delicious food past midnight so my friends on Facebook will have their mouths water but not have a bite of it.

The video content will range from video reviews, mobile gaming content and whatever I feel like.

So, what is your New Year’s Resolution? Does it also have to do with tech?

Feel free to let me know on my DigitalRev page (www.digitalrev.com/nathanlee) or on Twitter @RealLEENow
